Made circa 1900. These were purchased from Argentina, after Argentina could not provide the capital for payment. Peruvian crest still mostly visible on the chamber. No import marks found. Matching serials on the receiver and bolt. No other parts are numbered. Barley corn front sight and “roller coaster” rear. Military blued finish. Stock has been sanded and oiled. Original cleaning rod. CONDITION: Metal is fair-good, with general wear and gray patina. Some pitting at the stock line. Wood has impressions, dents and scrapes. Toe has a repair. Crack at the tang and left side of the toe. Bore is clean overall, with strong rifling. C&R eligible.
