DWM Chilean contract Model 1895 Mauser bolt action rifle in 7.62X51 NATO. Made circa 1898-1900 in Germany. Originally chambered in 7MM, but arsenal converted to 7.62X51 circa 1860s. Nice crest on the chamber. Import marked on the barrel. Matching serials on the receiver and bolt body. Other serials are mixed. “1895” dated cartouche on the left side of the butt. 29-1/2″ barrel with standard sights. Original blued finish and oiled wood stock. CONDITION: Metal is good overall, with general wear. Wood has minor handling marks, scratches and scrapes. Bore is lightly frosted with very good overall rifling. C&R eligible
