Made circa late 1940S/early 1950s with left over German parts and tooling. These served in the Israeli military well into the 1970s, being seen in the hands of reserve troops during the 1973 Yom Kippur war. Strong crest on the chamber, with “7.62” marked on the chamber and the toe. Import marks on the barrel. Matching serials on the receiver and bolt. Hooded blade front sight with 2000 meter rear. Military blued finish and oiled wood stock. Includes attached original Israeli sling. CONDITION: Metal is good overall, with an even brown patina throughout. Wood has finish wear and impressions/scratches throughout. Bore is frosted, with good overall rifling. Sling is very good. C&R eligible.
