Full Description
Made 1870s under contract by Steyr for the Imperial German military. This gun was never upgraded to 1871/84 configuration. Unit marked on the top of the butt plate. Imperial proofs on the right side of the chamber. No import marks found. Matching serials on the receiver, barrel and rear sight. Other parts are mismatched, but original. Original sights. Mixed brown patina finish. Oiled wood stock, with imperial proofs on the underside. Original cleaning rod. CONDITION: Metal is good overall, with mixed brown patina throughout. Wood has impressions, dents, scrapes and scratches. Bore is bright, with strong rifling. Antique, no FFL required in most places.
