Made circa 1900-1905. Made at the Koishikawa Arsenal. Mum has been ground. Various illegible rack numbers throughout. Model markings are still present. No import marks found. Mismatched serial numbers. Blade front sight and 2000 meter rear. Arsenal blued finish and oiled two piece wood stock. Original cleaning rod. CONDITION: Metal is good overall. Some light freckling of surface rust throughout. Wood has handling marks and scratches. Cracks on both sides of the wrist. Bore is frosted, with good overall rifling. C&R eligible.
