Made 1950s in Belgium, by FN, for the tiny country of Luxembourg. “AL” marked chamber. No visible import marks found. Matching serials on the receiver and dust cover. Bolt is not matching. 23″ barrel with original sights. Original black enamel finish and oiled wood stock. CONDITION: Metal is very good overall, as is the wood, having minor impressions and scrapes. Bore is shiny, with strong rifling. One of the harder FN-49 rifles to locate! C&R eligible.
