Made 1941 by Sako. This is a rare “PUOLUSTUSLAITOS” marked gun, which was used for only two months in 1942, meaning Defense Department. This gun also has the more traditional boxed “SA” stamp. Import marked on the barrel. Matching serials on the barrel shank, bolt and trigger guard. Sako Arsenal stamps on the right side of the butt stock. 27″ barrel with original sights. Arsenal blued finish and oiled wood stock. Original cleaning rod. CONDITION: Metal is very good overall. Wood has minor wear, impressions and scrapes. There is a chip out of the hand guard. Bore is frosted, with good overall rifling. C&R eligible.
