Arsenal converted from a standard Belgian Model 1889 Mauser circa 1930S. A lot of these were sent to the Belgian Congo for use by their colonial/police forces. No import marks found. Matching serials throughout, including the bolt. 24″ barrel with original sights. Arsenal blued finish and oiled wood stock. Includes attached original leather sling. CONDITION: Metal is good overall, with mixed wear and brown patina. Wood has light wear, with cracks on both sides of the wrist. Bore is lightly frosted, with very good overall rifling. Sling has light wear and cracking. C&R eligible.
