Made 1944. “UNITED STATES PROPERTY and “M1911A1 U.S. ARMY” on the right side of the frame. Crossed cannons arsenal cartouche on the right side of the frame as well. “FJA” inspector stamp and “P” firing proofs present. “HS” marked, High Standard contractor 5″ barrel (typical for Remington Rand guns). Original parkerized finish. Checkered brown Keyes fiber grips. “C-R” marked blued steel 7 round magazine (Little production). Also includes an unmarked arsenal flat board box. CONDITION: Metal is very good overall, with honest wear and browning. Grips have minor wear and scratches. Bore is mostly clean, with some light frosting near the muzzle. Magazine and box are excellent. C&R eligible.
