Made circa 1935-36 by Mauser Oberndof in Germany, as one of the last commercial contracts done before WW2. Most of these were cut down or upgraded, making those in the original long rifle variation very scarce. Crest remains on the chamber. Import marked on the barrel Matching serials on the receiver, bolt release and trigger guard. Bolt does not match. There is a plaque on the right side of the stock “TFR/NO.00377”. 29-½” barrel with original sights. Original blued finish and oiled wood stock. CONDITION: Metal is good overall. There is some light brown patina in areas. There is some pitting at the stock line. Wood has handling marks, scrapes and scratches. hand guard is cracked in front of the rear sight. Bore is frosted, with good overall rifling. C&R eligible.
