Made 1910 at the Mauser Oberndorf factory. Reworked circa 1930s for use by the Nazi German military and SS units. In fact, most of these early/updated guns were issued to SS units, as they were the last to get new equipment. Imperial proofs on the chamber. Some Waffenamts on the rear sight. No import marks found. Mixed serials. 29-1/2″ barrel with blade front sight and 2000 meter rear tangent. Arsenal blued finish and oiled wood stock. CONDITION: Metal is very good overall, with light wear. Wood has minor impressions, dents and scrapes. Bore is frosted, with good overall rifling. C&R eligible.
