Springfield Model 1903 NRA Sporter bolt action rifle in .30-06 Springfield. Made 1928/29, and sold through the NRA for National Match use. Barrel is star gauged, Springfield production, and dated “7-28” under a flaming bomb. Receiver drilled for scope block. Blade front sight. Lyman adjustable peep sight (no rear iris). Original blued finish. NRA Sporter walnut stock with fine checkering and metal checkered butt plate. Includes attached M1907 pattern leather sling, dated “1917”. LOP is: 13-1/4″. CONDITION: Metal is very good overall, with honest wear. Wood has minor scrapes and scratches. Bore is frosted, but retains very strong rifl8ng. Sling has light wear and crazing. C&R eligible.
