Made circa WW1 (Hungarian Army proof date is illegible on the barrel) at the Budapest Arsenal, being later Arsenal upgraded to fire the 8X56MMR cartridge. Import mark on the barrel. Matching serials on the barrel, receiver and stock (arsenal force matched). Standard carbine sights. Arsenal blued finish and field wood stock. CONDITION: Metal is excellent overall. Wood has light wear, handling marks and impressions. Bore is frosted, with very good overall rifling. C&R eligible.
