Made 1901. “U.S. ARMY” marks remain on the butt. “R.A.C.” inspector marks on the barrel, cylinder and left grip. Matching serials on the frame, crane, butt, cylinder latch and inside the right grip. 6″ barrel with original sights. Original blued finish and oiled wood stock. Original lanyard ring and stud. CONDITION: Metal is good overall, with general wear and brown patina. Grips have handling marks, scrapes and scratches. Bore is mostly bright. There are a few pits near the muzzle. Very good overall rifling. Hammer is tight. Cylinder has some side-side movement when cocked. C&R eligible.
