Made 1957 in China. 1957. This gun is likely a “bring-back” from Vietnam. “DOC” carved on the left side of the finger groove. There is also a “3/5″ cartouche on the left side of the butt. No import marks found. Matching serials, including the stock. 20-1/2” barrel with standard hooded post front sight and 1000 meter rear. Original blued finish and oiled wood stock. Folding blade bayonet, cleaning kit in the butt stock, and cleaning rod. CONDITION: Metal is a natural brown patina throughout. Wood has minor impressions, dents and scratches. Bore is shiny with strong rifling. C&R eligible.
