Made 1912 for the Imperial German Military. Imperial proofs on the right side of the chamber, and throughout. No import marks found. Matching serials (minus the takedown lever), including the wood grips. 4″ barrel with original sights. Original blued/straw finish. Grips have an original light oil finish. Wood bottom, nickel body magazine is unmarked, minus a faint imperial proof on the bottom. CONDITION: Metal is good overall, with honest wear, finish loss and cleaned patina throughout. Grips are very fine, with crisp checkering. Bore is lightly frosted, with well defined rifling. Magazine base has mares and impressions. Body is excellent. Honest WW1 Erfurt P.08 for your collection.
