Made circa 1915-1917 by Winchester in the United States, for the British military. Designated “Pattern 14″ by the British and Commonwealth nations. British proofs and broad arrow on the left side of the receiver. No import marks found. Matching serials on the receiver, bolt and rear sight. 26” barrel, with blade front sight and 1600 meter rear. Arsenal blued finish and oiled wood stock. Includes period leather sling. CONDITION: Metal is excellent overall. Wood has minor impressions, scrapes and scratches. Surface crack on the right side of the toe. Bore is bright, with very strong rifling. Sling has light wear. C&R eligible.
