Made late 1943. No import marks found. Barrel is IBM Corp, undated, with a “P” proof. Trigger housing, safety, bolt and hammer are all IBM marked. Slide is Standard products, and the magazine catch is Inland contractor. Two rivet hand guard is marked “SC-B”, as is the stock, meaning Sprague & Carleton (one of IBM’s main wood contractor). 18″ barrel with blade front sight and two position flip rear. Parkerized finish and oiled wood stock, which still has a crossed cannons cartouche on the right side. Includes a “B” marked blued steel magazine, which is IBM production. CONDITION: Metal and wood are excellent overall. Bore is shiny and crisp. Magazine is very good. C&R eligible.
