Made 1943 in the first serial block, with the Remington barrel dated “7-43”. Bolt is electro pencil matched to the receive, and is “R” marked. Faint boxed “FJA” cartouche, and “RA” marks, in addition to “AA” ordnance stamp, all on the left side of the wrist. Circled “P” firing proof on the wrist. Original parkerized finish. Stock has a light oil finish. Original Redfield junior mount and early Weaver 330 M8 4X scope. Attached leather sling is unmarked. CONDITION: Metal is excellent overall. Wood has minor impressions and scrapes. Bore is frosted, with very good overall rifling. Scope is very good, with a clear optic. Very hard to find with the early Weaver 330 M8 scope! C&R eligible.
